Điểm cộng: Bua was lovely, she even got us some fresh sugar cane from her garden. nHer homestay is lovely, and she has an amazing garden. I highly recommend for a night in Medan.

Điểm cộng: This guesthouse was our very first stop in Indonesia on our way to Bukit Lawang – and we couldn’t have wished for a better welcome. The place is surrounded by lush greenery, has a peaceful and friendly vibe, and the owners are truly wonderful. They kindly picked us up from the airport late at night and even waited patiently after our flight was delayed. The food was absolutely delicious, they have a great natural mosquito repellent you can buy, our room has AC and their sweet dogs stole our hearts from the first moment. A beautiful place with beautiful people – thank you for making us feel welcome right away!

Điểm cộng: The guesthouse is located in a quiet area with a nice garden and outside area to relax. nThe best however was the owner. She gave us great tips and helped us organize our further trip. She owns another guesthouse in Tangkahan where we went on a jungle trip to see the Orang Utan. She made us a good and absolutely fair deal to get there, stay there, do the jungle tour and get back to Medan. We had the time of our life there.

Điểm cộng: Best part about this place is the hospitality and the atmosphere, the hosts are wonderfully warm and hospitable. The atmosphere is so peaceful and beautiful. Lots of greens and plants around, lovely village like location. You will have a peace of mind here.

Đánh giá: Only stayed one night at Bua Guest House and it was pleasant enough. The host family is friendly and accommodating. They speak good English and I got a ride with them from Medan to Lake Toba the next day and we had a lovely conversation all the way there.

Điểm cộng: Very friendly people, nice little rooms with good showers and toilets. Breakfast options were tasty and there is a basic restaurant across the road. This is a great place for families all the way to backpackers who are after a good little local place to park yourselves while in Medan. We used it stop over for one night either side of heading into the jungle from the airport and it was perfect for this. They also will pick you up and drop you off from the airport for pretty much the same price as a standard taxi so this is a good option.
