Điểm cộng: It was cute at first. The upstairs family unit was where I would have preferred to stay. Even with just the two of us. Breakfast was okayish. They connected us to a really great driver who was intelligent, kind and knowledgeable.

Điểm cộng: I am a frequent visitor in Bali since 1998. Prior to Bebek Biru, I stayed in two luxury villas with private pool in Seminyak and Ubud. I was recommended Sidemen for relaxing and soul searching. I was searching for the Old Bali. Choose Bebek Biru mainly for the view and good review. I arrived quite late around 6 pm and Bapak Wayan was waiting for me. My car was parked in front of another property and I had to walk a little through a beautiful paddy field to get to Bebek Biru house.rnrnOnce Pak Wayan open the door, my heart just dropped. It was too big for solo traveler and they view was the best I had ever seen in Bali. It was like Bali in the old day. I am always drawn to mountain and paddy field compare to sea anyway. Never get tired of the view. The drifting smell of the flower surrounding the house and the sound from nature and the nearly temples bring tears to my eyes. I am a very sensitive person. Spent most of my time reading and sleeping on the comfortable daybed with thick mattress at the balcony. Thank you, Bebek Biru owner! Most property I stayed only provide hard chair or benches - not meant for total relaxing.rnrnMattress - I am insomniac - had my best sleep ever here.rnrnBeing in the hotel and travel industry for many years, I've experienced many kind of properties around the world, the most expensive, the cheapest, the most wonderful and the horrible one as well. However, I think I have found almost a perfect place for me in Bali - Sidemen. The house, the view, the PEOPLE - I have found a new home here.

Đánh giá: We stayed in the 2 story villa. Gorgeous view from both stories overlooking the rice fields and mountain across. It felt very homey, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Due to the structure of the house, we were visited by different insects quite often, good thing is they provide mosquito net above bed. The highlight of the stay perhaps was the lady who owns the rice field next door, she’d wake up early and start banging on some metals to scare the birds away from eating the crops. During the night, it was a symphony of cicada, cats, frogs, different insects and roosters. A true nature experience.

Điểm cộng: The location is perfect. It's the center of sideman by so many restaurants and mini Mart and scooter rental everywhere. It's the best area of sidemen being central to everything. Since there's really nothing to do here and that the only thing you can do is only here. This homestay is comfortable and offers good accommodations for functional needs.

Đánh giá: First off,the staff were really friendly and accommodating.We had a freshly made breakfast each morning which was delicious.They also helped us to sort out a transfer to the pier and allowed us to rent a motorbike for the time we were here.No complaints,they were brilliant!nn Our room was overlooking fields and mountains,it was set back at the bottom of a garden.The view and garden was beautiful and green.nn The only problem we had was the cleanliness of the place.Bugs kept on coming inside (A group of ants,moths,a snail climbed up the walls,beetles to name a few) We therefore didn’t feel brilliant going to bed at night and just felt quite dirty.n nI understand we we’re staying in a rural part of Bali but we just felt really uncomfortable.nn If you don’t like bugs,you will not want to stay here!

Điểm cộng: We stayed in the double room all the way in the back of the property in the downstairs room. There was an incredible view of the mountains and a pond with sounds of running water. You really feel like you’re in a remote place right in the middle of nature. Wifi worked fine, shower is hot, breakfast was simple.

Đánh giá: Bebek biru seems to be a single building made up of the larger apartment upstairs and my room underneath. My room was large with a very private balcony with a lovely view.nI have stayed in Sidemen several times at Sawah Indah and Abian Ayu. I was very surprised to find out that these 2 outstanding hotels are part of the same company. Bebek is lacking all the special details of the other 2 hotels.nThere was an old, used, soap bar in the shower, some litter left in the garden, very old painted walls and floor tiles, ok but stodgy breakfast. If you are a couple, the bathroom is completely 'open' to the room, just a net curtain, so you better not be shy.nNice view, but everywhere in Sidemen has that, there are better places.

Điểm cộng: Traveling with my wife and 13-year-old daughter, Bebek Biru is, simply, the best place we've stayed in Bali. It is a quiet, self-contained two-storey villa 200m off the road with a view across the rice paddies down to the river and up to the magnificent ridge in the distance. It is peaceful, beautiful, relaxing and restorative. We simply didn’t want to leave, either day to day, or in the end when we had to. rnrnFrom the path, you enter the big downstairs room with a kitchen and lounge with a large divan and well-stocked bookcase, and to the side, an indoor-outdoor bathroom (with lovely pregnant woman statue blessing the massive bath). You climb a spiral staircase to the second floor, where there is a big bedroom with a queen and a double bed and an ensuite bathroom. Both levels have large verandahs with table, chairs and a divan. We virtually lived on the upstairs verandah, playing cards, reading and simply gazing out at the view as the crows of local roosters and clanging of the local gamelan blew in on the breeze. rnrnThe house is managed by Wayan, who comes each morning to cook a simple, delicious breakfast and and attend to your every need, for example organising walks through the rice fields, or a taxi. He is friendly and competent and speaks good English. rnrnSideman is a small and peaceful authentic working village, with an unobtrusive tourist presence, levels of accommodation from low to high end, and many good warungs. Very close to Bebek Biru are two small shops to buy snacks, water etc. and also close at hand are cafes for simple, inexpensive food. Bebek Biru is the perfect base from which to enjoy and explore peaceful Sideman.

Đánh giá: This place is delightful. It is surrounded by rice terraces and is tastefully furnished. It is huge, more of a guest house than a room. The location is perfect (walking distance) for access to the limited restaurant selections in Sideman. The only reason you would not stay here is if you want hotel services. As there are only 2 rooms, naturally the services are more limited.
