Bali Eco Village

Đánh giá: I've got the worst diarrhea combined with vomiting after eating their food. And I'm not a first timer in Bali, living here for years, so I had the chance to introduce the local bacteria to my immune system. They manged to serve a bug that I wasn't prepared for. The location is very nice but extremely difficult to access even by motor. Way overpriced for what you really get there even without the infection.

Đánh giá: sauna and rooms were better than we expected. great staff and a very relaxed stay, i would stay here again and i will, 4 adults and 2 kids.

Điểm cộng: Staff were great. They need much better support from the owners. Location in jungle great. Great open jungle views from balcony. It was once a lovely place to visit for yoga etc.

Đánh giá: The Concept of the hotel is great and the location perfect. To get there a littel challange but great once you are there.. The staff is all very eager to fulfil all wishes you might have but are limited by the circumstances. The equipment for the cycling are really non-compliant to any safety standard and reflect the lack of knowledge how to take care of such equiment. Also the compound shows evident signs of deterioration and being run down and not really taken care of very professional. Whilst the villas where clean and very cosi, the restaurant, the gardens and area around show that the hotel has seen better times and need better management and cleanliness and definetly investment into the quality of the building material.

Đánh giá: This resort would have been great in its hey day, however it has been left to fall into disrepair. The villa we were put in had a terrible stink in the bathroom, the hot water was unreliable and the stairs to the upper level were made out of bamboo which broke. The second villa we were put in had no railing on the stairs allowing a young child to fall down the stairs if they fell out of bed. The food served was lovely and cheap and the staff were friendly. They need to clean out the murky ponds and tidy up the rubble around the place.

Đánh giá: Bali Eco Village is really in the middle of nowhere. You don't hear any other sounds than the voices of the surrounding forest. Ursula who manages the BEV is doing such a great job. She is always there to Support and answer questions. She also took my wife and me to a tour around BEV. Thank you Ursula!!

Điểm cộng: The view from our was fantastic, watching the forest when wake up is something remarkable. The surroundings is very serene and tranquil, the staff very accomodate and helpful, mbok Surya and the boys are gems eventho we asked their help in the middle of the night. The place needs some attention but it's very understable (after Covid everyone is stuggling).
The fireplace and sauna are things you can't find anywhere else, the road might challenging but the boys are always there to help.
Overall, for the rate and the service is something worth the money. Definitely will be back!

Đánh giá: Bali Eco Village is in a very peaceful location in a community farm. Below the Village is a spectacular waterfall with two adjacent meditation caves hard carved into the rock by a lovely senior gentleman who lives with his wife on the ecovillage land.

The accommodation was designed by an Italian architect and has spectacular views over a deep valley. At night, the only sounds are the breeze in the trees and the frog chorus.

The staff, captained by Ursula, were terrific and anticipated my every need. They guided and helped me on a minitrek to the waterfall and caves. The gentleman who carved the caves was delightfully warmhearted and welcoming, and took me on a tour of the food forest surrounding his home.

High quality organic food is available in your villa or in the restaurant.

Highly recommended for the single traveller, couples, families or parties of up to 25, and an excellent conference location. There is a large spa facility, yoga hall with spectacular view, and sauna.

Điểm cộng: Located in the heart of a village, surrounded with lush green trees and mountains. Just out of this world. The meals were lovely and very organic. Banglow was spacious and clean. The Bed was very comfortable and the staff were so lovely and friendly specially, Manager Ursula. Luckily the Owner Mrs Tini happened to visit the location and gave us a family like feeling. I would recommend my friends and family. All the very best and keep up the great work

Đánh giá: I would recommend a shorter, rather than longer stay as the menu is quite limited and you'll run out of things to do if you don't spend a lot of money. Saying that, I would recommend this place to anyone!! The staff are incredible, we want them to be our friends forever. The location is AMAZING! Although quite hard to get to initially.. would advise getting a taxi rather than biking (they offer a pick up service too).

Đánh giá: Our stay at Bali Eco village was wonderful. Thanks to Peter an his Team. The food there was delicious. They organised some great exkursions to waterfalls and volcanoes. It is also a perfect place to relax and hear the sounds of nature. The bungalows are great, and the surounding as well. So next time on Bali, we come again!

Đánh giá: I can, as many see the potential of the place, but I think the owners cant afford the project. The restaurant doesnt excist anymore, and the Hotel is one big construction site. Its been like that for very long, and no one works on finishing it.
Despite the feeling of being sold a lie, I tryed to look positively at the place, and the houses where good with a nice view. The bath was not at all nice with to little hot water and it was impossible to adjust the temprature of the water. It went up and down and fastly ended cold. So many sounds from nature, and a nice Yoga/view house made me enjoy some of it. Those things where very good and made the stay somewhat worth it. Also the Eco mind to it was important for us.
The food was overall okay, but due to the lake of custumers, they often where out of many things, and the breakfast was too small and the bread was terrible. Same omelet or pancake every morning. We eat at the room cause there was no restaurant.
We ended up leaving 2 days early as the place didnt offer alot to do. You cant walk around alot, though the walk to the waterfall is a must. 4 days is more then enough. I also recommend the mount batur trekking. Hard but worth it.
We also went to besakih temple, and that was not a great time. The place was beautiful, but they will try to trick you for money. First you pay entrance, then they force you to buy offering, the guides for temple, and later donation inside. If your not the person to handle pressure you will end up losing up to 200 dollars. I ended up leaving in anger having spent 30, but they just kept asking for more and more even after i said no.

The personel was polite and did what they could, but even though it was an eco village, they kept alot of birds in small cages. We asked them to release them, and I dont if they did or just removed them, but it thought me that the people working there didnt have an Eco mindset. The owner wasnt there to teach them or guide them. The place needed a leader
