Baisha 31 Bed and Breakfast

Review: So glad that I booked this place for my family to enjoy a nice vacation on the best beach in Taiwan. We loved how close it was to the beach (3-minute walk) and the two bedroom, two bathroom layout of our room was ideal for our needs.nnRoom and facilities are very clean and cared for. The room we stayed in was completely separated from the rest of the minsu which was great for privacy.nnBreakfast was simple but delicious. Owners even made us dinner the first night after we arrived which was very much appreciated and super delicious!nnWhat makes this place so great is its location. Stay here if you want to experience beach vibes and still be within short driving distance to several amenities and tourist spots (i.e., Houbihu, Hengchun, South Beach, Kenting Night Market).

Positive points: The location and on-site amenities like washing machine, parking, water machine were very convenient and helpful. Also, the very close proximity (2 minute walk) to an amazing beach is hard to beat.

Positive points: The hosts were amazing! Very friendly and treated us like true guests they seemed genuinely delighted to host us and make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast in their backyard was a highlight.nThe property is just a few steps from the beach which made super easy to get there before the crowds rushed in.

Review: I give Baisha 31 B&B five stars for location. It is a minute walk to Baisha Beach, the prettiest and least develop of the main beaches in Kenting. nThe hosts are friendly and take pride in what they do. They speak basic English and Japanese but are native Mandarin/Taiwanese speakers. nThe facilities are a converted Taiwanese farmhouse built of coral and cement (like many of the older buildings in the coastal area). It is not fancy and there are a few things that could use repairing or could have been better designed, but none of them interfered with our enjoyment of staying here. nI would recommend this B&B for families or even a groups of families or friends who love the beach and hanging out and who want clean but simple rooms. They have one family suite that had two bedrooms (a room for 2 and one for 4), a bathroom, kitchenette and livingroom. They also have several 2-person and 4-person bedrooms with bathrooms (showers only). There are laundry facilities and bicycles available for use.nI wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Positive points: Highly recommend this quiet welcoming beach bed & breakfast. The property is sea side, set not more than 200 meters from the beach. The room is very clean & comfortable, they provide free drinking water to refill, breakfast is simple & filling. The provide free laundry facilities to use. The Baisha bus stop is just a minute walk away. Hosts are too kind, they drove me to Hengchun night market on Sunday after I missed the last bus into town! Enjoyed spending the time with them. They went above & beyond - their kindness will not be forgotten. Thank you!

Review: The couple that run the place are excellent hosts and keep a very nicely run place. A back garden for breakfast with freshly made coffee and western style ( not congee) toast, eggs ham. Clean room just 3 minutes from beach. Parking spaces. Will stay again.

Review: A very friendly and warm B&B. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The garden was beautiful and my kids enjoyed the cats. Very close to the beach which is stunning. A bit isolated- just a couple of places to eat nearby- but that also adds to its charm. If you have your own transport I’d highly recommend it. If you don’t, there are a few buses each day to Hengchen and the strip in Kending but you’ll need to order taxis after 5pm. Will hopefully be back

Positive points: The owners were very friendly. The room was clean and had a lovely modern bathroom, and breakfast was simple and tasty. nBest of all was the beautiful shady garden and we were just a short walk from the beach!

Review: Our family has been to luxurious resorts all over the world and also bigger hotels with better facilities in Kenting, but this is our favorite place in Kenting. This is as close to the beach as you can stay, thanks to the fact that the owner was born on the property of this B&B. Really helpful with little kids when you need to run back to the room often, no major road to cross. The rooms are very clean but basic, nice hot showers and all that. The food is VERY basic, but the owner is very health conscious and used all organic ingredients, including fruit from their garden. Best papaya we've ever had. Our kids fell in love with the garden and played as happily there with all the flowers and swings as they did on the beach. Our son has allergies so we make all of his food, and we appreciated that the shared kitchen was a full kitchen (it's the owners') and they were so generous to let us use anything we wanted. If you want a basic B&B experience with the best location and owners that make you feel more like family friends, this is the place.

Positive points: We appreciated how kind and helpful the owners were toward us as foreigners who do not speak Chinese. They are not afraid to use Google translate :) We also liked how clean the room was and how good the wifi was. A+++

Review: We spent two nights in this sweet B&B. nOur room was a two double bed with window to the sea (though sea is barely visible due the palm trees 🌴). The room is cozy, beds are big, they have a small fridge, provide water, electric kettle, tea and coffee. The room is large, the bathroom was modern with a nice design, the shower is awesome ! n The B&B is just a minute and 31 seconds away from the sea water ! (would be less if you go by running lol). The beach there is one of the most beautiful of kenting, water is transparent (I love swimming far from the cost and it was still quite transparent even after the 4 meters depth), there are colorful fishes around the coral reefs. So we can say you're only 91 minutes away from the color fishes and the coral reefs. n The breakfast if simple, but home made, the B&B host were sweet and kind. They have a big backyard with papaya trees, lots of orchids and a few cats. n Some meters away from the b&b there is a very small town with some family stores
