Review: This place is absolutely amazing. The hosts (Gusti & Ayu) are the most friendly people you will find on Bali. Nothing you ask is too much. The location itself is simple, yet clean, and the view of the jungle is absolutely amazing. The rooms tend to everyone's needs, from a honeymoon room, to a two bedroom villa, it is all there. The food Ayu prepares, at any time of the day, is simply wonderful. There is a short jungle walk to an amazing secluded temple that is def worth the walk. People that stay here tend to become long time returning guests, and we totally understand why! Would recommend 1000%
Positive points: Staff was great, super friendly and always keen to help. Pool area was great. Location in middle of the jungle was so peaceful.
Negative points: Like some other people said, my room had a very strong humid smell and only one plug so you have to choose between charging your appliances or plugging the fridge. My bed wasn’t comfortable and a bit noisy. I agree on what some other customers said, it feels like this room has been done in a rush and hasn’t been finished properly.rnI reckon it was a bit overpriced for that kind of room. Other ones seem nicer. rnLocation is far from the town and all the restaurants so if you’re not comfortable driving a motorbike, don’t book here.
Review: I would NOT recommend this place to solo female travelers. It is very secluded, no wifi in the room and my second night someone tried to break into my room, posing as staff, to rape me. Scariest experience of my life.nnBeautiful place, incredible owners but not safe
Positive points: Amazing location, felt like we were in the middle of the jungle but still easy to go everywhere. I walked in and not even 30 minutes later I already decided I wanted to extend my stay, fell in love with the villa at first sight. Everything was very clean and it had everything we wanted. The staff and owner were so helpful with the extra night and everything else. So peaceful and quiet, could’ve stayed here for weeks.
Negative points: Nothing.

Review: I truly recommend Astana Swaha. It's really nice apartment with perfect view and great staff. If you want to see the Lempuyang Temple or Pura Besakih - Sideman and Astana Swaha will be the best starting point for you.

Positive points: Hosts were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and there was always someone around to help us. Nice jungle setting, tucked away and quiet. Comfortable beds/air con. Host happy to arrange scooters, taxi services at competitive prices.

Review: Luxury Villa with beautifully Indonesian styled garden & an amazing view of the ricefields & rainforest from the pool and terrace. You truly feel like you are in paradise away from tourism & busy roads! The room itself is very spacious, super clean & comfortable with a huge bathroom which gives you the outdoor-shower feeling! The interior is nicely decorated with fresh flowers from the garden!(Good Wifi)nThe breakfast is absolutely delicious with it‘s 3 different choices of traditional Indonesian cuisine (our favorite is Gado-Gado) which you get served on the terrace with Balinese Coffee or tea & fresh fruits! nIf you want to explore your surroundings you can rent a scooter from the Villa. Furthermore they can organize your transport to your next destination with fair prices! This place is more than just another Hotel because of its amazing owners who truly look after your well-being, their kindness and most of all want you to enjoy your stay.nWe will definitely come back!n

Negative points: Imo it's a bit expensive for what u actually getting. You py for the view, the room is nothing that special. Breakfast was super basic as well. I think for 550k a night it would be a good value for money place. If you really like astonishing view you will enjoy there.

Review: What a privilege to stay at this beautiful place!nIt is more isolated than other accommodation in the Sidemen area, but so worth it for the views! They took my breath away. But there is an easy arrangement with their lovely young driver to go wherever you wish. The pool area was glorious. Even though cool at night & far less humid through the day, it was still lovely to swim in & got full sun. nThere are no warungs or restaurants nearby but that didn't matter. Iyu's cooking was delicious & served with love. nShe is the most beautiful person & both her & the other beautiful Iyu, shared their family & daily life with me...something I will never forget. Such an honour..thank you to all at Astana Swaha..the highlight of my 3 weeks in Bali. n
Positive points: The jungle setting with mountain views was stunning. Very nice private pool. Beautiful temple area right on the grounds. Breakfast was very good, very nice family run villa. Thank you for making our three nights stay so special Gusti and Ayu! 😊

Review: A villa where you can go to, to fully relax and be away from technology (they do provide wifi too though). It's quite secluded but we really just needed somewhere comfortable to rest in before and after a mt Agung trek
