Positive points: The reception and cleaning staff for the hotel were lovely and very accommodating. The location is perfect for exploring the city centre, we could get to many museums, the Ben Nghe food market (go!), the independence palace and many other markets were all in walking distance or a short cab ride away. Our bedroom was very comfortable and came with robes and slippers. We also got fresh towels regularly which is nice when the humidity is high and you need to take a lot of showers. They also restocked our free mini bar daily which kept us in water and soda (there was also beer but we didn't drink that). The bathroom was a decent size too. The air-conditioning worked well.
Negative points: Although the hotel itself was lovely, we unfortunately cannot recommend the spa. We went on our last day and the jacuzzi and steam bath were out of action and there were a lot of cockroaches in the changing room. It may have been the language barrier but my masseuse went way too rough on me despite me audibly saying "ouch" several times and I ended up with bruises on my spine and lower back.

Review: Good cleaning & breakfast services. However, the interior facilities are a bit old in design and style - this does not affect the quality though.
Negative points: The staff was rude and were cribbing when asked for 2 bottles of drinking water which was effectively not given. Also, As per them, housekeeping shuts at 10pm. So no services related to housekeeping were available after 10 pm, the smallest one being the request for drinking water.
Review: It is an excellent choice for exploring Ho Chi Minh City. Great and helpful staff. Excellent Facilities and location.
Positive points: The location is very great, near President palace and Ben Nghe Street food. Mini bar (water, coca cola and beer) was for free and supplied every day.
Negative points: The bathroom had a very strange bathtub and no shower. There were some small insects flying in the bathroom in the morning, the whole bathtub was full of them. There was no hot water on the last day in the evening. The window was very old you could hear everything from outside. The view from the window was of the wall. There were strange stains on the carpet, both in the room and in the corridor. The breakfast was on the 9th floor, the selection was very poor, and even the fruits were hard, unripe and inedible.

Positive points: The room was big, and satin robes were nice.
Negative points: The room was quite dated, and the bathroom smelled bad. 'Free minibar' meant 2xbeer, 2xcoke and 2xwater.

Review: Second time we stayed. Such a convenient location in district 3 for the connection for our tour. Easy walk into district 1 sights or catch a GRAB. The staff were again great in helping us.
Positive points: All good. Excellent breakfast and position is very central. I never used the spa and other amenities even if they were all included
